Bungie Is Splitting With Activision And Taking Destiny With
In a tweet today Bungie has announced it is splitting from Activision and plans to take full control of Destiny 2. In a released note they state:
The planned transition process is already underway in its early stages, with Bungie and Activision both committed to making sure the handoff is as seamless as possible.
It seems the split is already in motion at this point. Bungie was also quick to quell fears that this may change the Destiny roadmap.
We’ll continue to deliver on the existing Destiny roadmap, and we’re looking forward to releasing more seasonal experiences in the coming months, as well as surprising our community with some exciting announcements about what lies beyond.
