What is Bethesda Teasing?

You know, things were going pretty well this morning.  It’s a beautiful day in my neck of the woods and I’m feeling pretty good!  So I went and opened Twitter this morning and hit a BOMBSHELL –

omgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomg……

Now, I know better when it comes to these teases.  I know that I need to keep my expectations in check and just enjoy the ride.  BUT HOW CAN I NOT GET EXCITED FOR THIS????????  So let’s speculate a little bit!

Now, the “Please Stand By”  is synonymous with the Fallout series.   Fallout 4 was the last big Fallout release and launched back in 2015.  There have been DLC packs since then, but nothing major (except Fallout Shelter).

My first reaction was a New Vegas sequel.  That was quickly shot down –

Heartbreaking news.  Of course, it could mean another studio is involved, but I won’t get my hopes up.

That only leaves a few more choices.  We could be getting a Fallout 3 remaster.  It’s been about 10 years since Fallout 3 came out.  A nice HD remake would be really nice for current-gen consoles.  It could be a Fallout MMO.  That one seems a little far-fetched, considering the number of resources being put into Elders Scrolls Online.  My official prediction?  A Fallout 3 remake.  We’ll find out soon enough at E3 2018!
