Defend The Cake…

Defend the Cake is a strategic and scrumptious tower defense game. Take your time planning a maze of toast walls and delicious defenses. Then get ready to deploy your Eggbird minions in real-time to power-up your defenses and fend off the invading armies of bugs.

Graphics…

The graphics are well done when it comes to Defend The Cake. Like most of your Tower Defense cartoon style graphics, Defend The Cake delivers on every level. Smooth and easy going graphics that are visually fun and will not hurt your graphics card either.

Gameplay and Story…

What is not to love about a cute and adorable cake fearing for its life from the evil insect brigade? The idea is that your enemy has a given path from point A to B being your cake. That path is up to you depending on where you place your cake at the beginning. With each turn, you are given the ability to continue to add on and build to your defense setup. This can range from towers of toast to make the path to your cake longer and more convoluted to frosting cannons that slow them down or strawberry seed shooters. There are even some Watermelon catapults for that longer range shot.

Replay Value…

The replay value I feel is one of the weaker or weakest points in the game. In total there are 18 levels, that for the average gamer that is not too concerned about 100% completion with a perfect score is actually pretty easy to get through. If you are that hardcore completion gamer it will take you a few run through of each level to finish everything off. One nice feature is that it has a leaderboard to try and work your way to the top versus other players in the online community for Defend The Cake.
