Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am Announced for E3 2018!
Last night, an epic steam occurred on Twitch. Ninja, aka, Tyler Blevins, smashed Twitch records by streaming Fortnite with some major celebrities – Drake, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Travis Scott. This was not a sponsored event – this was a wonderful moment in gaming where a group of players got together, played Fortnite, and had a blast. At one time, a little over 600,000 viewers tuned in to watch them play!
On the heels of this event, Epic Games has announced that they will hold a Celebrity Pro-Am during E3 this year!
Not many details are known, but in a news post, Epic Games announced that it will feature 50 celebrities and 50 pro gamers. If last nights stream is any indication, then this Pro-Am will be extremely popular. The question now is who will participate, and will it be on PC or console?
In the meantime, I hope we get some more streams like last night. I want more huge turnouts to see people from all walks of life play a game together. It was a lot of fun to see!
