New Enhanced Xbox 360 Titles Arriving Today
I know there are some out there who don’t think much about backwards compatibility. I personally think it is a fantastic value for gamers who want to continue playing their favorite 360 games on their Xbox One. Today, Microsoft announced that four backwards compatible titles are available, and have been enhanced for the Xbox One X!
Today, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, Forza Horizon, Fable Anniversary and Crackdown are now enhanced for better graphics and performance on the Xbox One X. There have been other 360 games that have been enhanced, including Assassin’s Creed, Fallout 3, Gears of War 3, Halo 3, Mirror’s Edge, Oblivion, and Skate 3.
Now, there are a few steps that need to be taken to take advantage of the enhancement –
- Press “View” and “Menu” buttons on the controller to pull up the Xbox 360 guide
- Navigate to “Settings” blade
- Select “Xbox One X Settings”
- Select to optimize for “Graphics” or “Performance”
With today’s announcement, backwards compatibility includes 460 Xbox 360 games, 11 Xbox One X Enhanced Xbox 360 titles, and 13 Original Xbox games. Pretty good value if you ask me.
