Steel Rats First Thoughts and Why I Was Unable to Play

Steel Rats at first intrigued me. It was a motorcycle action game with a 2.5D view. It also looked to have some stunt bike elements as well. Steel Rats looked to have mashed up some genres that haven’t been done before. Throw in some story elements and lore around why it was set in an alternate version of the 1940s, I mean why would you not be interested?

When I fired it up I was stoked. This game seemed deeper than I originally thought. There we multiple characters with different skills and upgrades. It allowed you to choose who you wanted in different situations and play the way you wanted to play. There were collectibles on almost every level which opened up the lore of the story that you can pop in and check out in the menus. The graphics looked decent and there were multiple paths to take to just wreck all of the Junkbots you can…So what happened?

Steel Rats gave me terrible motion sickness. The first time was in the middle of a stream and it was friggin bad. I had to stop the game and ended up switching to Final Fantasy 1 on the NES. The second time was offline and it still hit me. I don’t know why this game is affecting me but it kills me that I was unable to finish this game for a review like promised. I will try to attempt this again in the future.

Has anyone else been affected like this by this game? Let us know below!
